Sports Development Officer
Full‑time position located in Richmond, part of Richmond and Wandsworth Councils.
Starting salary: £35,391 pa (progression to £42,888 pa).
What You’ll Be Doing
You will lead the development, coordination and implementation of sports development initiatives as part of the “Richmond Moves for a Healthier Borough” strategy. This includes delivering London Youth Games and supporting other programmes in the Sport & Fitness Service. You will work 36 hours per week, which may involve some unsocial hours as required. What We’ll Need From You
* Significant sports event management experience and experience working with voluntary sports clubs.
* Experience in partnership working, delivering impact projects within budgets and supporting outcomes.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Understanding of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion in employment and service provision.
