Your Role
Based in East Midlands Gateway, our e-commerce operation provides inbound & outbound fulfilment, value-added services, and utilizes an approved network of transport providers. We seek a proactive HSEQ & Facilities Manager to implement and oversee health, safety, security, maintenance, and operational practices across the site.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate and lead all planned maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption.
2. Identify improvements in security and facilities management, supervising employees, subcontractors, and visitors to ensure safety compliance.
3. Investigate operational failures, implement remedial actions, and oversee soft services such as security, CCTV, waste removal, and cleaning.
4. Maintain operational trackers, manage budgets, risk assessments, and contractual targets.
5. Lead onsite safety initiatives including GEMBA walks, inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
6. Analyze safety and operational data to identify trends and facilitate incident reduction campaigns.
7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and coordinate management reviews.
Candidate Profile
Proven experience in health, safety, and facilities management, preferably within warehousing or logistics. IOSH qualification required. Strong operational knowledge, policy development skills, and ability to build internal and external relationships are essential. Experience with cost models, budgeting, and reporting is also necessary.
