We are seeking a UK-based Business Development Coordinator to join our talented, global team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract for 12 months. This is an experienced role to support our business development and fast-growing business opportunities across our Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and Australasia regions. As a key member of the group Marketing and Business Development Team, you will be at the heart of supporting the BD function for the entire business, with a specific focus on supporting the production of bids and proposals for the EMEA region.
The job is varied, fast-paced, and will require an ability to multi-task and prioritise accordingly. You will work within the talented and dedicated team, and from time to time, also support on Marketing tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for coordinating business unit project bids and tenders (RFP) compilation, including client communications to establish the brief, content creation, document coordination, submission and follow up of bid documentation.
* Support priority sectors research, such as new market routes and trends to enable the business units to improve effectiveness in service delivery.
* Coordination of all BD general activities, including meeting scheduling, organising BD related events, updating calendars, and ad hoc research, as well as BD related report writing, data gathering, and system development.
* Responsibility for developing, monitoring, updating, and maintaining the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (Insightly/Vantagepoint) for business units to ensure it remains up to date and accurate; provide data analysis as required.
* Monitor BD prospects in the press/online and lead on reporting all new business leads regularly to the business units.
* Coordinate to update company templates, and maintain standards across regional materials (bid documents, CVs, project sheets, etc.).

Essential
Qualifications, Key Skills & Employment Details
* Experience in a bids/pursuits/proposals or business development role in an agency, consultancy, or in-house within arts administration, architecture, construction, or related field.
* Experience using InDesign.
* Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, such as Insightly.
Desirable
* Participation in business development and marketing campaigns/initiatives.
* High level of IT literacy (Google docs, Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat).
* Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative.
* Ability to easily manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong time management skills with the ability to think, plan, coordinate, organize, and execute multiple projects in different phases simultaneously with little direct supervision.
* Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
* Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as being a flexible team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challenge.
