Occupational Therapist - Adult Social Care Oxfordshire Council Pay Rate: Up to £38 UMB Contract: Full-time | Initial 3-6 months with potential for extension South Oxfordshire Council is looking to recruit an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Homefirst Neighbourhood Team South, part of the Home First Hospital Service. This team supports the recently implemented Discharge to Assess model. The client offers flexible working, a fair caseload, and professional development. Main Duties: Conduct home assessments across South Oxfordshire - own transport required Carry out bedside assessments in hospital settings Promote independence and support people on their reablement journey Complete Care Act assessments Assess individuals and carers with complex needs in the home environment Recommend and coordinate equipment and adaptations Undertake manual handling assessments Work in line with safeguarding procedures, promoting dignity and respect Requirements: Minimum 2 years post-qualified experience Previous experience as a community-based Occupational Therapist Experience with major adaptations and reablement pathways Manual handling expertise HCPC Registration Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can assist) Eligibility to work in the UK Must have own vehicle and full UK driving licence Benefits: Competitive pay up to £38 per hour (UMB) Hybrid working - occasional office visits only Ongoing training and development Flexible work environment Free on-site parking (where applicable) Why Join Our Agency?
