Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Joiner to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for first fix and second fix joinery, dorma and velux builds, structural flooring, loft conversions. This role requires a strong understanding of carpentry, joinery, and the use of hand and power tools. The ideal applicant will have experience in construction environments, including roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and construction painting. Responsibilities
* First and Second fix joinery to a very high standard
* Install joinery elements such as doors, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures on-site or in workshops.
* Assist with roofing tasks, ensuring proper fitting and sealing of materials.
* Read technical drawings and specifications accurately to meet project requirements.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment adhering to health and safety standards.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople including electricians, masons, plumbers, and roofers to complete projects efficiently.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, or joinery roles within the construction industry.
* Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and screwdrivers.
* Experience operating power tools including drills, sanders, and saws.
* Knowledge of roofing techniques, masonry work, plumbing systems, electrical wiring or construction painting is advantageous.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights if required.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in reading technical drawings and specifications.
* Relevant qualifications or apprenticeships in carpentry or joinery are preferred but not essential.

Pay: £16.00-£17.50 per hour
