Purpose of the role
This is a great opportunity for an experienced registered general nurse to join our complex care at home team. You will be joining 3 Angels Complex Care at a great time in its development as it expands its complex care & clinical services. You will have the chance to make a positive, lasting impact on the company’s success.
Main Duties
* Conduct clinical assessments with new clients and create bespoke care plans
* Support in the safe mobilisation of POC out with the community
* Provide practical & theory training in clinical areas for support staff to POC for our clients
* Provide support staff with clinical signed off competencies in areas such as clinical intervention & competencies - PEG, Tracheostomy, Ventilation
* Review and monitor care packages to ensure they adhere to 3 Angels Complex Care & CQC regulatory standards, including regular MAR auditing & reporting
* Work collaboratively with clients, family, other professionals and interested parties to enhance the quality of care delivered and offer support to our clients, managers and staff as needed
* Ensure that clients receive the right clinical support & advice while in our care
* Provide supervisions to support staff
Requirements
* Registered Nurse with active NMC PIN
* Full UK driving licence
* Experience of community-based work (desirable but not essential)
Experience of working with
* Spinal injuries
* Cerebral palsy
* Neurological conditions
Competency (desirable but not essential)
* Tracheostomy care
* Cough assist
* Epilepsy & rescue meds
* PEG feeding
* Prepared to travel to visit clients
* Friendly & willingness to share skills & ideas!
