Job Vacancy: Helpdesk/Receptionist – Cardiff
Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Location: Cardiff
️ Standard DBS Required
2 Weeks Cover
We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Helpdesk/Receptionist to provide 2 weeks cover at a busy front desk in Cardiff. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver a friendly and professional front-of-house service
* Handle and direct incoming telephone calls efficiently
* Monitor and respond to email enquiries
* Liaise with staff, members of the public, and contractors to support with general queries
* Carry out general administrative duties including filing and documentation
Requirements:
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Competency with basic IT systems (e.g., email, Microsoft Office)
* Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
* A valid Standard DBS is essential for this role
* Previous experience in a receptionist or helpdesk role is an advantage
