A great opportunity to join the Suffolk County Council's Communications and Public Affairs team as a Senior Communications Officer.
We are looking for someone politically astute, able to juggle multiple demands, and an experienced communicator. If that sounds like you, consider applying.
Your role
Develop and deliver high-profile communications campaigns, working with professionals, politicians, and service experts. Protect and enhance reputation, manage media relations, and communicate effectively with council colleagues.
Our team is focused on innovative campaigns using behavioural insights to make a real difference through creativity and strategic communication.
You will need
* To be educated to degree level or equivalent, or have significant professional experience in communications and campaigns.
* Experience in devising and implementing creative, audience-focused campaigns.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations, reports, publicity, digital, and marketing materials.
