Glenholme Healthcare is looking for an enthusiastic reliable and friendly Domestic Assistant to join our team at Haddon House in Peterborough.
This is an important role within our Specialist Residential Service where you will help maintain a clean safe and welcoming environment for the people who live and work in the home.
Your work will directly contribute to the comfort dignity and wellbeing of our residents.

Haddon House is a specialist residential service supporting individuals with learning disabilities complex needs and behaviours that challenge. The service is designed to provide a structured supportive and homely environment where individuals can develop independence and life skills.

Duties of a Domestic Assistant
• Cleaning bathrooms lounges hallways stairs kitchens and communal areas to a high standard
• Cleaning front and back areas of the home in line with service standards
• Following cleaning schedules and infection control procedures
• Being responsible for a set of keys and ensuring the security and integrity of cleaning areas
• Reporting maintenance issues in line with procedures
• Supporting the wider team with cleaning bedrooms under supervision
• Ensuring cleaning supplies are stored safely and stock levels are maintained
This role requires attention to detail reliability and pride in your work.
This job requires an Enhanced DBS check to be carried out.
