Lead Clinician – Bramfield House School, Suffolk
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (DOE) · Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm · Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks (Term-Time only will be considered) · Location: Bramfield House, Suffolk – IP19 9AB
We are trialling a 4-Day Working Week (4DWW); after probation, you could work one day less per week (or equivalent) if the trial is successful. If the trial is rolled out, this may become a standard arrangement across the group.
Responsibilities
* Lead the in-house Clinical Team at Bramfield House School, including line management of onsite clinicians.
* Hold a therapy caseload and deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex profiles of need, including autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma, and SEMH needs.
* Collaborate with the school’s Senior Leadership Team and the Clinical Locality Lead; integrate the Clinical Team provision into day-to-day school operations.
* Provide staff training and consultation; contribute to safeguarding and maintaining a nurturing environment where pupils can flourish.
* Ensure alignment with EHCPs and identify emerging needs to support pupils effectively.
Qualifications & Experience
* Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Psychotherapy, or registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC.
* Valid professional registration & membership (e.g., HCPC, RCOT, RCSLT).
* Experience with autistic individuals and those with complex needs; strong report writing skills related to clinical and research activities.
* Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team; ability to work independently; experience working in a multi-professional setting within the designated specialty.
* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
