Retention Analyst - up to £60,000 - United Kingdom (remote)
We’re working with a leading brand in the online gaming and sports betting industry, known for its data-led approach and innovative commercial strategies. As part of its continued growth, the team is now seeking to hire a Retention Analyst. This is a fully remote position, open to candidates based in the UK.
This role will sit within the commercial analytics function, focusing on customer retention and campaign performance. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to build reports, uncover behavioural trends, and support strategic decision-making through high-quality data insights.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain reports and dashboards (primarily in Tableau) to evaluate the effectiveness of CRM campaigns and retention strategies
* Support commercial projects by designing success metrics, estimating business value, and identifying analytical requirements
* Conduct deep-dive analyses into customer behaviour, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities related to retention
* Take ownership of the reporting infrastructure used by commercial and operational teams
* Present analytical findings in a clear and actionable way to non-technical stakeholders
Key Skills
* Degree in a quantitative or analytical subject (e.g. Economics, Mathematics, Data Science)
* Strong SQL and Tableau skills, along with proficiency in Excel and MS Office
* Experience with Python or R is highly desirable
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain data to non-technical audiences
* Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once
* Prior experience in the gaming or online entertainment sector is a plus
