An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen for a PLC Software Engineer to join a world leader in the design, engineering and installation of pharmaceutical-grade systems.Duties Design and development of control systems. This will include working to GAMP 5 requirements including the preparation/reviewing of URS, FDS, SDS, HDS, FAT and SAT documents.Design and development of Software code primarily for Siemens S7 PLC and HMI using WinCC. (Siemens Comfort Panel HMIs, IPCs and SCADA systems.)Liaising with other Engineers during production of wiring diagrams, electrical control schematics, panel layouts and cable schedules.Providing technical assistance on obtaining quotations and preparing sub-contracts for control systemsAttendance at pre/post tender and contract meetings where there is a controls requirement.Assistance in controls commissioning activities including FAT and site SAT/OQ.Commercial and Technical responsibility for all elements of C&I.Defining scope of works from clients brief/tender documents to produce detailed activity plan.Attributes The ideal candidate will have a proven track record and used to working on your own initiative.Experience in providing technical support to customers over the phone or via video call, diagnosing problems and helping them to overcome them.You will possess the drive and enthusiasm to carry out your role and be creative, passionate and innovative in your approach.Apply If you're interested in this role, click 'Apply' to forward an updated copy of your CV.TPBN1_UKTJ
