About the Role: Ready to channel your technical expertise and sales acumen, driving grower success with cutting-edge machinery solutions? We are seeking an ambitious and technically skilled Technical Sales and Product Specialist to join our client's high-performing team. Operating out of our client's Lincolnshire office, you will play a vital role in promoting and selling advanced, high-value crop machinery solutions that drive productivity from planting to harvesting. Leveraging proven technical expertise, you will provide exceptional customer support, ensuring optimal machinery performance and actively demonstrating the product(s) to showcase the value of the machinery and secure sales. In this role, you will build strong, lasting relationships with growers across the UK and Ireland, offering expert advice on integrating innovative Ag Tech solutions into their businesses. If you're a forward-thinking sales professional with expertise in precision farming, vegetable farming or a related sector, and looking to make a significant impact in the agricultural machinery space, please contact Katie. Responsibilities: To effectively market and sell a diverse portfolio of vegetable, salad and root crop machinery and equipment, delivering detailed quotes and value-focused proposals. To deliver on-site machinery demonstrations, highlight key features, and advise on the integration of advanced systems, including GPS, VRT and telematics. To foster and develop strong customer relationships, offering after-sales technical support and guidance. To work collaboratively across the business and with third parties to ensure a seamless customer journey. To stay updated on market trends and advancements, attending shows and exhibitions to promote the brand. To undertake regular travel across the UK with occasional European visits. Qualifications: Experience in the agricultural machinery sales or technical product support sector. A good technical knowledge of agricultural machinery, technology, and systems, e.g., GPS, telematics. A knowledge and understanding of row crop farming techniques and crop management. The ability to confidently demonstrate machinery and equipment. An appreciation of precision farming techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to clearly explain complex concepts to a range of audiences. Organised and able to manage own diary to meet business needs. A team player able to work independently when required. Driven and customer-focused with a solutions-oriented mindset. Proficient IT skills. A clean UK driving licence and the willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland.
