About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Civils Working Supervisor to lead site teams across water and wastewater treatment projects. This is a hands-on role where you will both supervise and actively contribute to civils works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and lead site operatives on civils works including excavation, drainage, concreting, and reinstatement
* Work alongside the team as a hands-on operative when required
* Plan daily activities and allocate tasks effectively
* Ensure all works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and programme requirements
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
* Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments
* Coordinate plant, materials, and labour on site
* Liaise with site managers, engineers, and clients
* Monitor progress and report on productivity and any issues
RequirementsEssential:
* Strong background in civil engineering / groundworks
* Previous experience in a supervisory or ganger role
* Experience working on utilities or water infrastructure projects
* Valid CSCS card
* SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong knowledge of health & safety practices

* CAT & Genny (Cable Avoidance Tool)
