Position overview
We’relooking for a strategic and hands-onCommunity Lead,with a deepconnection tothe architecture community,who willspearhead our community marketing efforts across the UK and US.You’lllead a growing team of Community Managers and Program Managers, while also directly engaging with the architecture community to spark and amplify conversations about FormaSite Design, Forma BuildingDesignand future offerings.
You’llbe responsible forbuilding a community engine that drivesawareness, credibility, and adoption-both online and at key industry events.You’llwork closely with Product, Growth, and Content teams to ensure community insights shape our roadmap and messaging.
You’llnurture a team thatthrives onownership-people who wantto stretch across theentire roleof community marketing: from shaping narratives and engaging users to drivingstrategyand measuring impact.
Role description
1. Lead and mentor a distributed Community team, fostering a supportive and high-performing culture
2. Develop and execute a growth-led community strategy grounded in data, experimentation, and user insights
3. Build and scale theForma contentcreatorsprogram, empowering users to become advocates and content creators
4. Spark,participatein, and amplify discussions across LinkedIn, Reddit,Archinect, andassociated forums-with a focus on the UK market
5. Represent Forma at key architecture events and conferences, building relationships and driving engagement
6. Ensurecross organization alignment sothatfeedbackfromthe communityinfluences productroadmap decisions
7. Stay ahead of trends in community marketing, architecture, and AI to inform strategy and innovation
8. Present community impact and strategy to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
WhatWe’reLooking For
9. Deep network and credibility within the architecture community
10. Proven experience leading teams, ideally across multiple geographies
11. Comfortable withownership-taking ideas from concept toexecution, andthrivingwhenyou'retrusted to drive outcomes across the full community marketingtoolkit
12. Someone who sees blockers aseasily overcome. Comfortable working internally to removeblockers and improve team velocity
13. Strong strategic thinking and executional rigor-you know how to build and scale programs that deliver measurable impact.Be able todemonstratethat you can build a strategy focused around building online communities
14. Experience applying AI tools in marketing or community workflows
15. Excellent communication skills-you’rea natural storyteller and connector.Comfortablepresentingto leadersinternally, andpeers in the industry externally
16. Adept at social media and creating engaging content
17. Technically proficient witha range of Architecture software,Microsoft Office Suite, and,ideallyCopilot, Slack, Teams, Zoom.Quick to learnnew tools
18. Ideally have basic video editing skills
19. Ideally have experienceapplying AI tools in marketing or community workflows
20. Ideally comfortablewith experimentation and learning fast from data
21. Familiarity with Autodesk Forma (especially Forma Site Design) is a plus
22. Willingnessto travel for events and team offsites
