 
        
        We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Land Information Manager who can bring a breath of land referencing and land/property knowledge to our growing team.
What you'll do

Reporting to the Head of Estates but working closely with our Land Entry and Property Managers, you will be integral to the provision of an efficient land entry service for a multitude of construction projects across our region.
As the specialist lead, you and the team will research, report and advise on all aspects of land ownership and rights necessary for effective consultation, considered project design and responsible land entry practice.
Your duties will include:
 1. managing and supporting the development of the team
 2. being the specialist lead in the research, interpretation and accurate collation of land interests from a variety of information sources (GIS, deeds and electronic records)
 3. acting as the principal contact for updating company land information systems, including tracking and reporting of land entry and transactions
 4. preparation and quality assurance of statutory notices and landowner agreements
 5. developing automated land referencing methodologies and reporting
 6. liaising with engineers, consultants, landowners, occupiers, and professional representatives.
What you'll need
We're looking for someone with:
 7. people management skills (desirable)
 8. proven experience in a senior land referencing, legal executive or similar land and property role
 9. knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory land entry requirements for pipeline or similar projects
 10. an attention to detail and the ability to accurately interpret and report on all aspects of land tenure and rights
 11. experience in GIS mapping, land information systems and other land referencing tools
 12. organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and good communication skills
 13. the ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively across teams.
A valid driving licence is required for this position, as there will be occasions when site visits are required.
