What you'll be doingIn this role as Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of a fast paced Despatch area and able to work part of a team to drive it's success. In this role, your duties include, but not limited to:Process finished Greencore-Prepared meals products made by the production team through to the point of Despatch to our customersWorking in a small team you will be picking the correct products for our customer ordersEnsuring orders are loaded onto vehicles for deliveryMaintaining a clean workspace within Despatch areasMaking sure Despatch is organised through stock rotationWorking in a fast-paced environment and able to meet time-sensitive deadlinesEnsuring all PPE issued is worn at all timesLogging product shortages and reporting them to the Management Team at the depot at the end of each shiftAble to work in a cold environmentWhat we're looking forA good level of English and MathsAble to work a 4 on 4 off - 12 hour shiftsExperience in a similar roleExperience in a food manufacturing preferred but not essential.Ability to work in a safe manner and consider the safety of othersA good attention to detail with a firm focus on Quality and Health & SafetyAble to adapt well to change and undertake a variety of activities across our operationDemonstrating teamwork and communicating effectively developing relationships with team members and other teams across the siteBasic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene (but this isn't essential as training will be given)Forklift license is preferred, but not essentialWe're proud to be recognised in the Gender Equity Measure Top 100 for our commitment to gender equality.
