Job description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. Duties
Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently.
Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely, adhering to all safety regulations.
Maintain an organised warehouse environment, including proper stock management.
Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock.
Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing materials to ensure compliance with standards.
Assist in heavy lifting and materials handling as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain a positive working atmosphere.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
UK Driving licence essential.
In date FLT Counterbalance licence advantages.
Familiarity with picking, packing, and quality control processes is advantageous.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the role.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential.
A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices within the workplace.
Pay:
£14.00 - £15.00 per hour.
Bonus scheme after 12 weeks.
