About the Role:
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join our team in Cheltenham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance and a basic understanding of electrical fault finding. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility, working with a variety of systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, presses, robots, and automated manufacturing lines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform planned and reactive maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
* Maintain and troubleshoot presses, robots, and automated manufacturing lines.
* Carry out basic electrical fault finding when needed.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Work as part of a small, dynamic team to ensure maximum machine uptime and efficiency.
Skills & Experience:
* Mechanical bias with experience in industrial maintenance.
* Ability to carry out basic electrical fault finding (training can be provided).
* Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, presses, robots, or automated systems is advantageous.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
* Flexibility in working hours and a proactive approach to maintenance.
