Civil Engineer - Infrastructure & Drainage Design

We're recruiting Civil Engineers on behalf of a well-established consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering innovative, practical infrastructure design solutions. Due to growing project demand, their Derby-based civil engineering team is looking for a motivated engineer with 3-5 years' experience.
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll work on the design and drafting of civil engineering schemes across a wide range of sectors including residential, industrial and commercial. This includes:
* SuDS design
* External works
* Section 38 / Section 104 adoption works
* Civil infrastructure for developments up to ÂŁ30m in value
Many projects are delivered to BIM Level 2, using MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage, Civil 3D / PDS, and AutoCAD.
You'll also support project coordination and occasionally deputise for the team lead in planning and resource management.
What We're Looking For:
âś… 3-5 years' post-graduate experience in civil engineering design
âś… Strong skills in AutoCAD, with demonstrable drainage & external works design
âś… Experience using Civil3D or PDS and InfoDrainage or MicroDrainage
âś… Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset
âś… A problem solver with a logical, analytical approach
âś… Working knowledge of UK design standards and construction processes
