Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for Manufacturing Engineer on a 18 month contract based in Warwickshire. Role Summary • Leading Capex investment projects- from proposal/cost benefit analysis through to installation and commissioning/handover. • Leading Lean/Kaizen improvement studies to improve manufacturing efficiencies. • Planning and coordination of preparation activities, installation/commissioning of new kit, equipment, or contractor supervision. • Driving Kaizen initiatives and tracking their impact/cost savings • Leading initiatives and presentations to senior leaders to get buy in and approval for business funding. • Analysing and planning workflow, space requirements and equipment placement to maximise manufacturing efficiency. • Mentoring and Leadership of less experienced Engineers, supporting the drive and team ethos for MRT. Requirements • An experienced Lean Leader with strong leadership abilities to lead change within our manufacturing organisation. • An engineer preferably with strong CAD Design skills (Preferably in Creo), who can model tooling concepts and see them through to a detailed design. • Demonstrable Lean Qualifications and/or prior experience in leading Lean initiatives. • Capability to set and meet aggressive goals.
