Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Advanced Pharmacist to join our professional team at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust. You will provide specialised pharmaceutical care to patients accessing the HIV and sexual health services, ensuring high quality, cost‑effective, evidence‑based prescribing.
Core Responsibilities
* Act as a clinical specialist and support the Lead Specialist Pharmacist in delivering specialist pharmacy services to the sexual health service, including prescribing, support work and development of initiatives.
* Work closely with patients, families, friends and carers to improve the service experience.
* Take a key leadership role, acting as a role model for others and ensuring the team delivers effective care planning in collaboration with service users and carers.
* Facilitate reflection on service delivery and identify quality improvement opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
* Relevant experience in HIV and sexual health is preferable but not essential; specialist training will be provided to the right candidate.
* Band 7 experience is acceptable; structured development pathway will support progression to Band 8a with training, supervision and competency‑based assessment.
