Night Shift Manager
4 on 4 off
Food Manufacturing
East Riding of Yorkshire
Factories aren’t glamorous.
And running one on nights? Even less so.
But this is where the real work happens.
This business makes both high-risk and low-risk food products. That means two things:
* The standards are non-negotiable.
* The margin for error is basically zero.
They need a Factory Manager who can run a 4-on-4-off night shift (5pm–5am). Someone who can keep people safe, keep the product compliant, and keep the operation moving.
What you’ll actually be doing:
* Making sure H&S and food safety regs are lived, not laminated.
* Balancing cost, quality, and efficiency without dropping any of them.
* Leading a team by earning respect on the floor, not hiding in the office.
The environment is fast-paced, demanding, and unforgiving if you cut corners. But if you like being the one who holds it all together, the person people look to when things get tricky, you’ll probably enjoy it.
The night shift has its challenges, but in a business investing heavily in growth and development, it can be hugely rewarding. You’ll have the autonomy to run the site your way and the scope to drive improvements across every area.
