Key Responsibilities
Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 that inspire curiosity and a passion for the subject.
Drive Standards: Maintain high expectations for student progress and attainment, acting as a positive role model within the department.
Classroom Management: Utilise effective behaviour management strategies to create a safe, inclusive, and focused learning environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with leadership and school staff to embody the cornerstone values of Collaboration, Opportunity, Respect, and Excellence.
Assessment: Use data to inform teaching strategies and provide constructive feedback to support student development.
Requirements
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification is essential.
Subject Knowledge: A degree in Mathematics or a related subject with strong curriculum knowledge.
Compliance: A valid enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
