Location: Ideally within 90 minutes of Lincoln (UK-wide applicants considered)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent | Typically Mon–Thurs (4-day week)

AML Instruments Ltd is a well-established provider of calibration and test equipment, accredited to UKAS ISO 17025. We are expanding our engineering team with an experienced Site-Based Calibration Engineer.
The Role
You’ll deliver on-site calibration services at customer locations throughout the UK (and occasionally overseas), covering:
* Mass, dimensional, electrical, temperature, pressure, torque, force, rheology, and optical equipment.
* Training will be provided for areas outside your current expertise.
* Expect an average of 2 nights per week away from home.
* Some travel to Europe and further afield may be required occasionally.
What You’ll Need
We’re looking for a hands-on engineer with:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in calibration, with expertise in at least two of the following disciplines: electrical, dimensional, optical, mass, torque, pressure, force or temperature.
* Strong understanding of calibration principles and practices.
* Dimensional or force calibration experience is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and Transmille ProCal software is a plus.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Proven ability to work independently.
* A flexible, positive attitude – early starts (5–6 am) and occasional fifth-day or weekend work may be required.
* Full UK driving licence (3 points or fewer).
