Description
Are you an experienced Production Supervisor looking to take the next step in your career within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment?
Impact is partnered with a well‑established engineering business in Daventry who pride themselves on delivering high‑quality products to their customers. They are now looking for a proactive and hands‑on Production Supervisor to join the team on a 3‑month fixed‑term contract.

Monday‑Friday, 8am – 4pm

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day‑to‑day operations of the shopfloor
- Ensure all staff are equipped with work orders, SOPs, and required resources
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant working environment at all times
- Allocate labour and resources to meet production plans and targets
- Monitor team performance to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Ensure all products are correctly identified and located on the shopfloor
- Conduct stock checks and monitor production indicators
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve production and planning issues
- Work closely with operatives to support output and quality standards
- Challenge non‑conformance and implement corrective actions
- Report machinery breakdowns and liaise with maintenance teams
- Drive continuous improvement across processes and productivity
- Ensure dispatch deadlines and internal delivery processes are met
- Promote high standards of behaviour and performance across the team

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing
- Background in high‑volume production environments (automotive preferred)
- Experience managing teams and driving performance
- Understanding of health & safety and operational compliance
- IT literate with the ability to manage basic systems and reporting
