The Role We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide high-quality support to our children here at Newdale. We are looking for an individual who can support the class teacher in the delivery of lessons as well as daily administrative jobs. The successful candidate also needs to be adaptable and happy to work with children on a one-to-one or group basis through tailored interventions e.g. nurture groups, speech and language. Key Responsibilities Deliver targeted support to pupils with SEND, both in class and through individual or small-group interventions Assist in the implementation and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)/ Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs) Foster positive relationships with pupils, promoting confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing Support pupils with personal care needs when required, maintaining dignity and respect Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents/carers, and external agencies We are seeking someone who… Has a genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting children with their learning Is committed to safeguarding children Demonstrates patience, empathy, and resilience in a dynamic school environment Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills A sense of humour (a must!)
