A reputable regional law firm is looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant to join its busy and friendly residential property team based in Sheffield. You’ll be working closely with experienced fee earners, providing high-quality administrative and client support across a broad range of residential property transactions. The firm has a strong reputation for client care and professional development, offering a welcoming and team-focused culture.
Responsibilities
* Assisting fee earners in the progression of conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion
* Preparing and issuing contracts, TR1s, and other legal documentation
* Submitting searches and managing pre and post completion work
* Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and lenders
* Maintaining accurate file management and compliance with all regulatory requirements
Qualifications
* Previous experience working in residential conveyancing
* Strong organisational and communication skills with a focus on client care
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office
* A proactive and positive approach, with the desire to build a long-term career in property law
