Are you a confident and experienced Teaching Assistant ready to hit the ground running?
We’re looking for strong, committed TAs to join our alternative provision setting in New Milton, supporting pupils aged 11–16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people who need patience, structure, and someone who truly cares.
About the Role:
Work 1:1 and in small groups to support students in and out of the classroom
Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour, and engagement
Help create a safe, consistent and supportive environment
Work alongside a skilled and committed staff team
Be proactive, resilient and ready to adapt day-to-day
TA experience in SEN/SEMH settings is essential
A confident, calm, and consistent presence
Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
A team player who’s passionate about making a difference
Someone who’s ready to start immediately and make an impact from day one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
