Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist - Pelvic Health. Fixed term: 12 months (maternity cover). Full time - 37.5 hours per week. Site: Queen's Hospital, Romford. Salary £44,485 - £52,521 Per Annum Inclusive. Job ref 162-7378-AV. This role is patient facing and involves delivering pelvic health services within Barking, Havering and Redbridge NHS Trust.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic team as a band 6 physiotherapist in Pelvic Health. Main duties of the job
To perform advanced holistic physiotherapy assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions, provide a clinical diagnosis and develop and deliver an individualised treatment plan.
To hold responsibility for own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service or a particular patient type, working without direct supervision. Access to advice and support from a Senior Therapist is available as required. Supervision includes regular informal/formal discussion, teaching, clinical reasoning sessions and peer review.
To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
Supervise, educate, and assess the performance of less experienced physiotherapists and assistants at graduate standard, in collaboration with the Senior Therapist to ensure standards of practice are met.
