New Directions Education are seeking passionate and dedicated Primary Teachers to work across a range of primary schools in the Newport area.
We have opportunities available for both experienced teachers and enthusiastic ECTs who are looking to develop their teaching experience within supportive, inclusive, and forward-thinking school environments. Responsibilities include:
 1. Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across the Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2.
 2. Planning, preparing and assessing pupils’ learning in line with the national curriculum.
 3. Managing classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
 4. Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to help every child reach their potential.
What you’ll need to succeed:
 5. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
 6. Experience teaching within primary settings (Foundation Phase and/or Key Stage 2).
 7. Strong classroom management and communication skills.
 8. A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
 9. A valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through New Directions).
