The Role

As a Business Development Representative, you'll be a key part of our clients growth engine, connecting with business leaders, understanding their challenges, and showing them how Elephants Don't Forget's AI, Clever Nelly, can transform their operations. You will have to be highly organised and a great communicator to approach, qualify and secure sales opportunities with business prospects.

The goal of this role is to create and cultivate relationships with prospective customers to build a consistent and high-value pipeline for their new-brand sales team.

About

* £27,500
base earning salary per annum
* On target earning (est £14,500 in the first year earning potential to
£42,000 per annum
)

Key Responsibilities

* Generate and qualify new business leads via inbound and outbound channels
* Collaborate with technical and proposal teams to shape winning client pitches
* Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets
* Develop a deep understanding for how their technology works and the value it delivers to their customers
* Consistently fund HubSpot with new, relevant, and up-to-date data to fuel their future marketing activity and build prospect intelligence

Your success in-role will be evaluated on:

* Number of sales appointments secured
* Quality of sales appointments secured
* Effort shown in your prospect approaches
* Pre-meeting knowledge of your prospects' business and challenge

Skills and Experience

* Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
* Adaptable and agile, comfortable in a fast-paced environment
* A strong understanding of business development best practices
* Inquisitive, focused and goal oriented
* Motivated to develop your sales skills and passionate about accelerating your career within their sales team
* Resilient and highly organised
