We are proud to be partnering with a Charity, who are looking to appoint an Outreach Support Worker on a 3-month temporary contract.
This will be a full-time position based in Surrey, with a rate of £22.97 per hour via an Umbrella Company.
The ideal candidate will have an Enhanced DBS taken out within the last 3 years, a Full UK Driver’s License with access to a car and experience providing outreach support to individuals experiencing homelessness.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Managing a caseload of rough sleepers
2. Creating accurate support plans and risk assessments
3. Finding rough sleepers’ temporary accommodation where possible
4. Signposting clients to external organisations
Experience required:
5. Experience providing outreach support
6. Experience working within a charity
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
7. Strong communication skills both written and verbal
8. The ability to deal with people compassionately
Working hours:
9. 37.5 hours per week
10. Monday – Friday, shift work
