Salary: £30,000 - 38,000 + package (dependent on experience)
A leading housing/property developer is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team to work on a large-scale residential project based in Southwest London. The ideal candidate could range from someone looking to get started in their career as a Quantity Surveyor to someone with an established history of working as an Assistant QS with the pay reflecting the experience of the individual.
Role Overview
-Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor
-Project: Multi-Phase Residential Scheme
-Location: Richmond
-Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 + package (dependent on experience)
-Start: ASAP but they understand that they may have to wait for notice period
-Type: Permanent
Responsibilities
-Manage procurement and subcontractor packages
-Handle valuations, variations, and progress payments
-Support project reporting and cost forecasting
-Attend site and progress meetings with the wider team
-Contribute to the successful commercial delivery of the project
Requirements
-Some form of experience with Quantity Surveying whether that is educational or gained on the job
-Confident communicator with a proactive approach
-Ambition to grow within the business
