As part of a team supporting the Commando Force operational output, the tasks you will carry out will be Inspection and maintenance of a fleet of vehicles, including plant and associated equipment, through diagnosing faults identifying the best method of repair in line with laid down MOD standards in current technical Publications.
Training may require attendance at residential courses, as required additional out of hours working and detached duty (work away from home base) may be required but will recompensed appropriately.
We work in high pace close-knit teams and the post holder will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing faults and repairing all vehicles in the fleet. They will need to ensure all vehicle and equipment documentation is completed correctly, up to date by using the relevant MOD database and processes. They will also need to carryout mechanical, structural ad electrical repairs in accordance with current regulation and legislation.
