The role
Cluttons are looking for a Rating surveying assistant to join our market leading Rating team to provide first class support to our Partners based in Manchester. The Rating surveying assistant will support the rating surveyors to provide rating advice to a broad range of clients including Landlords, occupiers, investors, and developers.
Key deliverables
1. Alongside surveyors, attend client meetings as required
2. Support surveyors to provide bespoke rates appeal and mitigation advice to a wide range of clients
3. Assist in the preparation of Client reports
4. Assist the surveyors on building inspections
5. Develop good working knowledge of existing systems and processes for the delivery of services to clients
6. Assist on any adhoc projects and work to support the surveyors in successful delivery to clients

10. Provide first class support to colleagues

12. Develop a working knowledge of relevant software packages
13. Evaluate, adapt and improve standards, techniques and procedures
Requirements
14. Educated to A Level or NVQ
15. Keen interest in real estate
16. Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
17. Creative thinker
18. Ability to work autonomously and co-ordinate tasks efficiently to ensure deadlines are met
19. Accurate and exceptional attention to detail
20. Flexible approach to work
21. Team player who works effectively with colleagues and clients
22. Good IT skills (Word, Excel, MS Outlook)
23. Ability to learn new skills quickly
24. A background in clerical/office work would be beneficial but not a necessity as training will be provided
