Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to join our EFW client in Bridgwater. This is a Permanent role, working Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00.
Responsibilities
1. Managing and directing a team of mechanical, electrical, and C&I technicians to ensure minimum plant downtime and maximum plant availability.
2. Planning and executing plant shutdowns/outages.
3. Managing the department's maintenance budget.
4. Overseeing the management of the maintenance schedule.
5. Developing and maintaining records of plant maintenance, including work orders, PPMs, and planned and unplanned outages and inspections.
6. Overseeing on-site contractors.
7. Deputising for the Plant Manager when required.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance/engineering in a relevant heavy process industry, ideally power, but industries such as chemical production, aggregate, or similar are also relevant.
* Practical understanding of boilers, steam, pressure parts, and associated equipment.
* Experience with managing a team/department budget.
* Experience in a management or supervisory level role.
* IOSH or NEBOSH certification would be beneficial but isn’t essential.
* MUST HAVE a power/biomass/EFW background.
