People leadership: Manage a team of 6 Plant Recruiters across EMEA
The opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced EMEA Plant Recruitment Manager to lead fast‑paced, high‑volume manufacturing hiring across multiple plants and countries. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who can run a hiring engine at scale—building predictable delivery against demand while partnering closely with Plant Leadership, HR, and Operations.
This role is not for “generalist recruitment leaders.” You must be fluent in manufacturing operating rhythms and able to translate SIOP / demand forecasts into clear recruiting capacity and execution plans.
What you’ll do
Lead regional plant hiring delivery
* Own end‑to‑end delivery of high‑volume plant hiring (hourly, skilled trades, technical, and selected salaried plant roles) across the defined sites.
* Drive predictable outcomes through strong hiring governance, cadence, and discipline (weekly execution + monthly forward planning
* Run SIOP‑driven workforce execution
* Partner with plant and operations stakeholders to convert SIOP / demand signals into executable hiring plans and keep delivery aligned as demand shifts
* Lead and develop a team of 6 recruiters
* Set clear expectations, coach for performance, and manage priorities across multiple countries and competing plant demands.
Build scalable sourcing and pipeline strategies
* Drive local market strategies across operators/technicians/skilled trades/engineering talent—using direct sourcing, referrals, community partnerships, and local networks.
Own hybrid resourcing + vendor performance
* Manage a hybrid delivery model (internal recruiters + Contractors + external partners where needed) and ensure cost‑effective, high‑quality execution.
Standardize Plant Hiring Ways of Working
* Embed consistent recruiting workflows, strengthen candidate experience, and drive continuous improvement across sites.
Must‑have requirements (non‑negotiable)
* Manufacturing / plant hiring management experience is a must (not just exposure—proven ownership of delivery in plant environments)
* Proven success in high‑volume, fast‑paced hiring with measurable delivery outcomes.
* Demonstrated capability working with SIOP / demand forecasting and translating demand into hiring execution (rhythm, governance, prioritisation).
* Strong stakeholder leadership with Plant/Operations leaders—able to influence decisions and maintain momentum under pressure.
* Comfortable performing at pace in ambiguity, where priorities and demand can change quickly.
“Cherry on top” (highly desirable)
* Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma / Kaizen or equivalent process‑improvement methods—and the ability to apply that mindset to improve hiring flow, speed, and predictability.
* Experience improving end‑to‑end recruiting workflows through metrics, root cause analysis, and operational cadence.
What success looks like
* Plant leaders trust you because hiring is predictable, fast, and controlled, even when demand changes.
* Your recruiting team is clear on priorities and consistently delivering against volume requirements.
* You can explain hiring performance through demand vs. fill, gaps, and forward outlook, and you act early when risk emerges.
How to apply
Apply with your CV/resume highlighting:
1. Your manufacturing/plant hiring leadership scope (sites, volumes, role families), and
2. How you’ve used SIOP/demand forecasts to run hiring delivery (cadence, planning, execution).
