Tradewind Recruitment is currently supporting a well-regarded primary school in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, which is seeking a Key Stage 2 specialist class teacher to join their team as soon as possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and committed teacher to step into a supportive, inclusive school environment where high standards and pupil wellbeing are firmly embedded. The school is a one-form entry setting (with two classes in Year 5) and continues to maintain strong outcomes following a positive Ofsted inspection.
The Role
Full-time KS2 class teacher position with an immediate start
Responsibility for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge all learners
Ongoing assessment, tracking and reporting of pupil progress
Creating a positive, well-managed and inclusive classroom environment
Working closely with colleagues, parents and external professionals to support pupil outcomesThe Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with evidence of skills tests passed
Experience teaching in a primary setting, ideally within Key Stage 2
A strong understanding of:
Child development and age-appropriate learning strategies
Inclusive classroom practice and adaptive teaching
Effective teaching and learning approaches
Assessment, monitoring and reporting procedures
