Claims Surveyor We’re working with a respected consultancy looking for a talented Claims Surveyor to join their specialist disputes and claims team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead and manage a varied portfolio of construction claims while working closely with clients and legal teams. The Role: You’ll independently manage a live caseload of construction claims — from variations and prolongation to disruption — providing advice, preparing documentation, and leading negotiations to reach fair settlements. Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of claims, including preparation of supporting documents and negotiation strategy. Collaborate closely with client teams and project stakeholders. Attend meetings, present findings, and lead claim discussions. Assist in developing business and promoting services to existing and prospective clients. Maintain a high standard of professional ethics and confidentiality. About You: Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline. Chartered (MRICS) preferred, but not essential. Strong understanding of construction contracts and claims procedures. Experience preparing detailed, articulate claims documentation. Excellent communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills. Able to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.
