A progressive, forward-thinking, independent firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to join their firm on a remote basis. This firm offers a range of services to their clients, and you will be responsible for managing the entire process for your own portfolio, covering a variety of tasks to keep your work varied. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for: Managing your own portfolio of clients, being responsible for the full 360 client experience from start to finish. Preparation of statutory year end accounts. Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns and providing tax advice. Preparation of VAT returns. Preparation of management accounts. Bookkeeping for your portfolio of clients. The payroll is dealt with by a dedicated payroll team. To qualify for this Senior Accountant role, ideally you will meet the following: ACA or ACCA qualified with relevant Practice experience working as a Senior Accountant or similar. Experience using Excel, Sage, Quickbooks, VT, FreeAgent, and Xero is desirable. You must feel comfortable with all aspects of managing your own portfolio of clients, from communicating, managing deadlines, and doing the accountancy work. Client-focused, dedicated to providing excellent service and forming long-term relationships with your clients. Whats on offer?
