Software Engineer (Full Stack Rails) - software for the motorsports and activity industry 🏎️
I met this team at Brighton Ruby a couple of weeks ago, and they are such a lovely bunch. They're gaining traction in new geographies so need to hire 2 new Engineers on the Ruby product 🙌🏼
Here's some essential info:
* Mid level role for someone with a few years of Ruby experience, ideally full stack Rails but it's not a dealbreaker
* Salary would ideally be up to £65k, however for someone mega they'd consider £70k
* Remote in the UK with quarterly meet-ups
* Stable business going since 2013
* Team size of 8 people, with 4 software engineers. Both the CEO and CTO have Engineering backgrounds and are Founders of the company
* The tech stack is full stack Rails with Bootstrap for the UI. They are open to adopting Hotwire in the future but it's not a short term goal. Experience with Bootstrap isn't essential but it's a plus!
* Benefits include 25 days off, standard pension, remote work, co-work contribution, and a bonus scheme is being considered once the team and business has grown, too
They are a one-stop-shop software product saving activity centres so much time by centralising any automation you could think of. From booking management, marketing automation, registration and consent forms to timing systems - you name it, they have it! 🔥
They're looking for two enthusiastic Rails Engineers to join, ideally people who have a passion for sport (motorsports is a bonus!) so you can really bring ideas to the table and have a deeper understanding of why the software is so important and revolutionary.
There are currently two others in the business who are working on the Ruby product, and the other developers (3 people) are working on the .NET product. You would not be expected to work on the .NET part of the platform.
Apply now and I will be in touch if you have the right experience.
