About Sidcup Operations:
Sidcup Operations plays a pivotal role within the CCEP network, producing around 50% of the GB SKU portfolio. The site offers a comprehensive range of products, including small cans, across 7 manufacturing lines capable of producing 480,000 cans/hour, 96,000 PET bottles/hour, and 48,000 Glass bottles/hour. With approximately 300 employees across Manufacturing, QESH, and Engineering, this site offers excellent career progression opportunities within Sidcup and across other GB and Pan-European locations.
Role Overview:
The Maintenance Manager will lead the site maintenance program, ensuring all assets meet site and legislative requirements. The role requires technical expertise to support quick resolution of issues, develop and execute maintenance plans, and collaborate with site leaders to enhance performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify opportunities for improving line utilization and machine reliability; share best practices.
2. Support technical projects including budget management with the Site Senior Engineering Manager.
3. Plan and execute asset care interventions efficiently.
4. Participate actively in the Apprentice Program for recruitment and development.
5. Manage, mentor, and develop the maintenance team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
6. Control M&R budget, ensuring high standards and cost efficiency.
7. Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and safety standards; liaise with contractors and OEMs.
Skills & Qualifications:
Essential: Degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; 3-5 years of relevant experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments.
Preferred: Knowledge of SAP; NEBOSH, IOSH; Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma; experience with TPM.
