Dynamics 365 F&O Solution Architect
We’re looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Solution Architect to help design and deliver large-scale D365 solutions for enterprise clients. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys shaping end-to-end Finance and Supply Chain implementations, working closely with stakeholders, and guiding teams through complex digital transformations.
You’ll be involved in everything from solution design to delivery, collaborating with consultants, developers, and clients to make sure projects are robust, scalable, and future-ready. If you enjoy getting under the hood of F&O and driving best practice across design, integration, and performance, this role will keep you busy and challenged.
What you’ll be doing
* Leading the design and delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O solutions.
* Owning the solution for Finance, Supply Chain, or related workstreams, from scoping through to go-live.
* Working with clients to understand their processes and map business requirements to Dynamics functionality.
* Managing and mentoring project teams, helping consultants grow while maintaining delivery quality.
* Overseeing solution documentation, fit-gap analysis, and integration points.
* Supporting pre-sales activities, demos, proposals, and client presentations.
* Ensuring delivery excellence through testing, data migration, and change control.
* Running workshops and user training sessions.
* Advising on continuous improvement opportunities and helping clients get more from their D365 investment.
What we’re looking for
* 10+ years’ experience working with Dynamics AX / D365 F&O, ideally with multiple full-lifecycle implementations.
* Hands-on experience across Finance, Supply Chain, or Operations (Commerce a bonus).
* Strong client-facing skills, comfortable leading workshops, presenting to stakeholders, and explaining complex concepts clearly.
* Confident managing teams and collaborating across functional and technical workstreams.
* Excellent understanding of D365 best practices, integrations, and data migration.
* Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like Azure DevOps and LCS.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
* Willingness to travel occasionally for project work.
