Salary: £25,989-£28,142 per annum. Hours: Permanent, full time, 37 hours per week.
The purpose of a Civil Enforcement Officer (CEO) is to manage Lancashire's highway network by ensuring that highway users comply with parking and traffic regulations. CEOs identify and take appropriate action against non‑compliance, contributing to safe and effective highway operations.
Key responsibilities
* Maximise compliance with parking and traffic rules and regulations.
* Identify and take appropriate action against non‑compliance.
* Ensure enforcement action is appropriate and accurate.
* Provide a high standard of service to customers and stakeholders.
* Patrol the highway network on foot or by vehicle, including potential all‑weather conditions.
Requirements
* Full driving licence and ability to operate a Lancashire County Council vehicle.
* Willingness to work outside in all‑weather conditions and potentially challenging situations.
* Full DBS check and relevant training and accreditation within 6 months of starting employment.
* Ability to work a 5‑over‑7 day week on a shift/rota basis.
