We are looking for Technician-Science to join our HSC team. You will join us on a permanent, 36 hours per week, term-time only basis ; in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £23,339 to £25,825 pa inclusive of London Weighting (this is the pro rata'd salary) The Technician-Science r ole: To provide technical support for staff and students. Key Responsibilities of our Technician-Science: Preparation of materials and apparatus for demonstrations and practical work including examination requirements as directed Installation, checking and implementing new equipment and resources and ensuring correct operation. Monitor stock levels using appropriate systems and inform Curriculum Manager of any items that need ordering. Responsible for the care and maintenance of plant and equipment, the upkeep of related service records. Assisting in the demonstration of techniques and practices to students. Our ideal Technician-Science should have the following qualifications, skills and experience: Educational Qualifications – degree or equivalent qualification in science subject Experience of working in Lab or Technical Proficiency and Support Good understanding of Health and Safety management Good IT and administrative skills.
