As a Project Manager you will be supporting the Advisory Division within Water and Environment portfolio.
You will be responsible for the entire scope required for successful delivery of projects including: appraisal, planning, detailed design, construction and delivery phases. Project Management, Health & Safety, Commercial, Risk & Value, Budget. As part of a Core Team within the ENW Portfolio, you will work closely with the wider Advisory Project and Programme management teams to manage the project deliverables to the Client expectations. You will take ownership of and responsibility for the successful delivery of your projects and tasks, identifying and monitoring project risks and opportunities, and ensuring good project governance. 
Working within the Environment and Water Portfolio (ENW), you will be responsible for the delivery of both above ground and below ground water and wastewater construction projects. Delivery on time within cost and to stated quality standards 
Effective management of health, safety and wellbeing of all those engaged on the project 
Ensure the relevant safety management system has been employed 
Coordinate and manage contract requirements (NEC) relating to design solutions, construction and commissioning. 
Responsible for taking the project to the Investment Committee and guarantee the allocation of capital allowing the progress of the project throughout the lifecycle 
Be accountable for the expenditure, and overall out turn cost for the project including authorisation through specified governance. 
Be responsible for ensuring the change control process is followed including managing and recording all change to time, cost and quality. 
Active stakeholder management to clarify requirements and agree project objectives and priorities. Manage project risk and opportunities effectively - take responsibility for the identification, allocation and management of the project risk and opportunities, taking effective mitigation measures to reduce risk. 
Be accountable for the commercial objectives specific to the project - ensure necessary reporting & information is delivered on time, to the required standard.

A degree in engineering or project or construction management subject 
Project management experience across a range of disciplines, contract/procurement 
Flexible to travel to client site 2 - 3 times per week, with potential over night stays
Experience in the water sector, environment and regulated industrie
