1. Position: Customer Service Agent
2. Salary: £23,000
3. Location: Polegate
4. Hours: Monday to Friday working 9am to 5.30pm or 8.30am to 5pm

We are looking for a Customer Service and Dispatch agent to join an engineering company in the Polegate area where you will be providing first line support to customers and scheduling field engineers in this busy and varied customer service role.
As the Customer Service and Dispatch Agent you will:
6. Provide excellent Customer Service at all times over the phone and via email
7. Data input information onto the service management system
8. Raise customer quotes as appropriate and obtain purchase orders from customers
9. Check progression of jobs to ensure service level agreements are met
10. Provide phone support to engineers in the field
11. Log information in to external customers portals
12. Monitor and manage all email inboxes
13. Scheduling and allocate engineer’s work in the most efficient way
14. Make travel arrangements and hotel accommodation booking for field workers
15. Raise job numbers for service installs and future planned work
16. Ensure spreadsheets are kept up to date
The position is fully office based for the first 6 months, after which hybrid working is available.
You’ll need to have previous experience in an office based role, with good customer service experience and a high level of computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office such as Word, Outlook and Excel.
This is a busy and varied position.
