Do you have a passion for helping young people thrive in their education? We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable Classroom Support Workers to join our team, providing essential support to pupils and teachers across a range of primary and secondary schools.
As a Classroom Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment. You’ll assist with classroom activities, help manage behaviour, and offer one-to-one or small group support to pupils who may need a little extra encouragement. Your energy, patience, and communication skills will help make a real difference in students’ confidence and progress.
This role would suit someone with experience working with children in schools, youth work, childcare, or similar support settings. If you enjoy being part of a team and making a daily impact, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the class teacher with daily lessons and activities
2. Encouraging and motivating pupils to engage in learning
3. Assisting in the preparation of classroom resources and materials
4. Providing additional support to pupils with individual learning needs
5. Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion within the classroom
We’re looking for someone who:
6. Has experience working with children or young people
7. Is confident, proactive, and adaptable to different learning environments
8. Can use their initiative to support teachers and pupils effectively
9. Has a caring, patient, and professional approach to supporting learners
