At this well‑established manufacturing business, the site is enjoying continued investment due to new contracts being won. As a result, the Operations Manager is looking for a Demand Planner to orchestrate the heartbeat of its supply chain. The successful candidate will be the strategic conductor behind a finely tuned orchestra of purchasing, production, packaging, warehousing and sales.
Responsibilities
 * Craft and execute master production schedules aligned with long‑term forecasts.
 * Lead cross‑functional coordination across departments and geographies.
 * Translate commercial forecasts into operational reality.
 * Balance short‑term responsiveness with long‑term strategic planning.
 * Champion S&OP meetings and communicate risks, wins, and opportunities.
Qualifications
 * Experience in planning and supply chain within manufacturing.
 * Ideally worked in a regulated environment.
 * Strong communicator and influencer across all levels.
 * Analytical, organised, and relentlessly proactive.
 * Ideally ERP/MRP expertise and export logistics know‑how.
 * Influence high‑level strategy and decision‑making.
 * Thrives in a collaborative, regulated, and fast‑paced environment.
Benefits
 * Salary to £45,000.
 * Working hours Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
 * 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays.
